Di Plaaswerf is a guest farm located on a working farm where the silence is only broken by the sound of cattle, bleating of sheep and the songs of birdlife.

Enjoy the majestic view of the beautiful Ventersberg mountain in the background while your 'farm neighbours' quietly graze nearby.

We have the Farmhouse sleeping up to 12 guests with a lovely large "plaas" kitchen, braai facilities, the use of our fully equipped lapa, Wi-Fi, DSTV, indoor fireplace & 2 bathrooms. 1 bathroom has a shower and the other an old farmhouse bathtub.

The Chalet sleeps 2 adults & 1 child on a double bed & single bed. (Bunk beds can be arranged for 2 adults & 2 kids) with an indoor fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with a shower and a patio to sit an enjoy the beautiful views and of course a braai.

The Rondawel sleeps 2 people in a double bed, bathroom with shower and bathtub as well as an indoor/outdoor kitchen. Perfect for a couples escape for some peace and quiet.

The newest addition the Rose Cottage can sleep up to 7 people + a sleeper couch for extra children if needed. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, open plan lounge and two en-suite bathrooms 1 with a shower and 1 with a bath. A stoep with the most beautiful views and an outside boma braai area.

The guest farm is only 2km outside of the picturesque town of Fouriesburg on R711 road to Clarens. 

The scenery of the Eastern Free State can easily be explored from here, and attractions like Clarens (20mins) or Golden Gate (40mins) are just around the corner. With the R711 voted one of the most scenic drives in South Africa. 

We are also located ideally 8km from the Lesotho Caldedon Border post and 65km to Afriski.

 

Please take note that we do not supply towels. Guests are to bring their own.

Please note that we are not immune to load shedding and guests are encouraged to bring their own emergency lighting, although we do supply a limited amount.  Most of our units are equipped with gas stoves and geysers to make life a little more comfortable during loadshedding.
